Moonshot ideas are bold, ambitious, and unconventional — catalysts to change the way people view the world. JH Public Art invites local creatives to present one moonshot idea. Participants must follow a quick-paced presentation format: they are given 5 slides and 5 minutes to present their unique public art concept. JH Public Art and our sponsors provide the launch pad to rocket ideas out into the universe, where we hope they will land in reality. The Moonshot 5×5 awards are designed to provide participants with stipends to further develop their concepts. We are not looking for shovel ready projects, rather a bright idea that will require community engagement, planning, and likely, additional funding.
